We are proud to announce the start of the 17th VAFI & RAFI Animated Film Festival, which will be held from 18th to 22nd of May, 2026. This international festival, which will be held in Varaždin, Ludbreg, Novi Marof and Ivanec, brings a rich program full of animated films, creative workshops, socializing and exhibition.
The festival begins on Monday, 18th of May, with screenings of RAFI section -animated films for children and youth in the cinema in Ludbreg and the GAJ cinema in Varaždin. During the week, screenings will be held in the Novi Marof and Ivanec cinemas, and on Wednesday we will have a special exhibition with introductions and socializing.
The competitive part of the VAFI section lasts on Thursday and Friday, and ends with the VAFI awards ceremony and the screening of the best films of the festival in the GAJ cinema.
