We are proud to announce the beginning of the 15th VAFI & RAFI Animation Film Festival, which will take place from May 27 to June 1, 2024. This international festival, held in Ludbreg, Varaždin, Novi Marof, and Ivanec, offers a rich program filled with animated screenings, creative workshops, a symposium, and an exhibition.
The festival kicks off on Monday, May 27, with screenings of animated films for children and youth at the cinemas in Ludbreg and GAJ in Varaždin. Throughout the week, screenings will continue at the cinemas in Novi Marof and Ivanec. On Thursday, we will have creative workshops and the first day of the symposium at Center P4, where the Josh Staub exhibition will also open.
Friday, May 31, brings screenings at the GAJ cinema and the RAFI award ceremony, including a screening of the film “The Cricket and the Ant” and a celebration of the festival’s 15th anniversary in the courtyard of the Sermage Palace. The festival concludes on Saturday, June 1, with the VAFI award ceremony and a screening of the best films of the festival at the GAJ cinema.
